1. Eufy S1 Pro

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a range of brushes and attachments, and a user-friendly application that lets you pick the kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you could decide to let the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the living and kitchen but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models can't. Its only issue is that it is known to smash into walls and objects at a high speed. However looking at the history of cleaning in the app will show you exactly what the robot accomplished, where it's going, and which obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.

You can also view the full cleaning details in the app, which is clearly laid out and is easy to comprehend, though we would have liked to be able distinguish between a vacuum only or mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's most popular robot vacuum and mop, is the most recent version. The model this year has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This improves the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has an improved suction capacity, allowing it to pick up small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners could overlook.
This Roborock model, just like the other two I tried, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it overcome obstacles like furniture, walls, and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and decide whether they're a wall or another surface. It is able to change its path automatically and clean around the objects, without missing a step.
It's the most expensive model I've tested and it comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular style is striking and has just three physical buttons that include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can bring the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin automatically refills.
The only downside I've discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if needed), it's a pain to take off the mount to wash it manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and configure these features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and track battery life. You'll need to jump through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with its innovative features, top suction power and cutting-edge mopping capabilities. Its clever design permits customized and efficient cleaning while saving you time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first one to provide 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum can clear up pet hair as well as crumbs and other dry mess. It comes with a mop that is top quality that cleans hard floors without the need for a pad. auto vacuum is also extremely quiet in operation and only occasionally bursting during modes changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 also comes with an additional side brush that can be lifted and extended. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas, or reverse the process. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is user-friendly and easy to use, and the X40's smart features are simple to set up. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. They can also adjust suction power, alter modes, look at floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many convenient features which make it a good choice for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads and refill them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It will also tell you whether the mop pad has reached its capacity to the max and alert you to the situation before it overflows.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. However, it has several characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, a new feature on its mop heads, makes use of two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and other small dirt particles - and also pick up spills and wet spots.
The mop is also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from building up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a system we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and could be a good way of keeping your home hygienic for longer.
There's a wealth of settings on offer, including the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and alter a variety of preferences. The app allows you to define these preferences, or you can use the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and provides a number of options for customising your cleaning routine. It also offers several features that aren't available on other robots, such as the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen on market, sporting metallic and white colors that looks elegant and classy. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than the other robots listed on this list however it's not a lot of weight. It feels solid and well-constructed. The mopping system is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can also extend up to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice feature.
